Through over 30 years of business, Møreforsking has built solid expertise on designing and conducting projects within varying time- and budget-frames. The institute has 55 employees, whom conduct research, development, counseling and knowledge development.

WORK FIELD

Margrete Emblemsvåg

Margrete Emblemsvåg is a marine biologist (M.Sc.) from the University of Bergen, specializing in fish physiology and -anatomy. She took her bachelor degree in aquaculture and aquatic biology at Ålesund University College.
 
Margrete has previously worked for the Norwegian Food Safety Authority within areas of fish and seafood, import, export and organic foods. Until July 2014 she was employed at Møre og Romsdal county, working with establishing, coordinating and fulfillment of EU’s water frame directive in the region of Møre og Romsdal.
 
At Møreforsking she is a part of the “resources and catch” research group where she mainly focuses on fishery, aquaculture and exploitation of marine macroalgae.
