Through over 30 years of business, Møreforsking has built solid expertise on designing and conducting projects within varying time- and budget-frames. The institute has 55 employees, whom conduct research, development, counseling and knowledge development.

WORK FIELD

Anja Landes

Anja Landes holds a master`s degree in marine biology from Kiel University, Germany (2009). Her ongoing PhD project, with association to the Technical University of Denmark, is investigating the effect of salinity and plankton composition on feeding activity and growth in suspended blue mussels (Mytilus edulis).

Anja`s work experience is mostly academic, based on research projects at the universities in Germany and Denmark. During her career, she has disseminated knowledge via writing scientific papers and attending international conferences.

Anja has been employed at Møreforsking since January 2019 and is working within the research group Seafood Quality—with special focus on shellfish and sea cucumber. Apart from that, she is interested in ecological coherence of coastal areas, effects of climate change and challenges associated with sustainable aquaculture and animal welfare.
