Ingebrigt Bjørkevoll

Ingebrigt Bjørkevoll is a Fishery Science graduate from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science at the University of Tromsø, specialising in nutrient chemistry / microbiology. He worked as a researcher at the Nofima Fishery Research Division in Tromsø from 1999-2007. Since January 2008 he has held a position as researcher at Møreforsking Marin.
 
His main field of work is the processing of fish, with a focus on the whole value chain from raw material quality, processing processes, storage stability to knowledge of the market. For the most part he has worked with the conventional products saltfish, klippfish and stockfish, but also farmed salmon and cod. He has experience of EU, Nordic and national projects with a focus on national user-oriented industrial projects.
