WORK FIELD

Hanne Solvang Felberg

Hanne Solvang Felberg is currently situated in Kristiansund where she is responsible for regional development. She holds a cand. scient. (master's) degree in biotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a doctorate in biology focused on marine biochemistry from UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
 
Her main area of research includes enzymes and their activities and mechanisms both in disease states in humans and in quality degrading phenomena in fish. She also has 10 years of experience as a senior project manager for research and development in the omega-3 industry. Her industrial research was focused on enzymatic transformations, process-, product- and technology development and quality of marine lipids including regulatory work. With solid and relevant industry and research experience, she is responsible for building industry-focused research projects in the region and for contributing to the development of a biomarine competence hub for Campus Kristiansund.
 
Hanne also works as a competence broker through the FORREGION program of the Norwegian Research Council.
