Through over 30 years of business, Møreforsking has built solid expertise on designing and conducting projects within varying time- and budget-frames. The institute has 55 employees, whom conduct research, development, counseling and knowledge development.

Mohamed Ben Ahmed

Mohamed Ben Ahmed holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis, Tunisia (2013). His ongoing Ph.D. project, associated with Molde University College, focuses on applying optimizations and operations research to solve transportation problems.
 
Mohamed has been a trainee in Sotrapil and worked with, among other things, with pipeline batch planning and optimization.  He has also been employed until 2017 by Qatar University as a researcher and was part of a research project that dealt with the development of airline planning solutions for Qatar Airways.
 
Mohamed joined Møreforsking in October 2021 and is working with the logistics research group, focusing on mathematical optimization. During his career, he has disseminated knowledge via writing scientific papers and attending scientific conferences.
