Through over 30 years of business, Møreforsking has built solid expertise on designing and conducting projects within varying time- and budget-frames. The institute has 55 employees, whom conduct research, development, counseling and knowledge development.

Snorre Bakke

Snorre has his PhD from the Arctic University of Norway. In his PhD, he studied geographical variations in biology and eco-physiology of the Edible crab (Cancer pagurus) along the coast of Norway. He has his master education from the University of Bergen, specialising in the physiology and anatomy of fish, and a bachelor’s degree in aquaculture from Ålesund University College. Snorre has worked for Møreforsking since August 2008.
The work at Møreforsking include reserach on biology and physiology of crustaceans, scallops and marine snails (whelks). Snorres main research interest is how these animals physiology and behaviour are affected by environmental conditions. Much of this research is conducted at Møreforsking`s research facilities at Ålesund Aquarium Atlanterhavsparken, where Snorre is responsible.
