Through over 30 years of business, Møreforsking has built solid expertise on designing and conducting projects within varying time- and budget-frames. The institute has 55 employees, whom conduct research, development, counseling and knowledge development.
Steinar Kristoffersen has background from Computer Science at the University of Oslo, with a M.Sc. degree in 1993. He has been specializing in computer supported co-operative work/collaborative software engineering and received his PhD from Lancaster University, UK (1998). He was recognized as an unpaid associate professor (docent) at the School of Economics in Gothenburg in 2001 and became a full Professor of Computer Science at Østfold University College in 2007.
Steinar Kristoffersen has conducted research on global information systems, mobility and manufacturing/project management in various academic positions at the Norwegian Computing Center, Oslo University and Møreforsking Molde AS, respectively. He was also involved in the start-up of two companies in Gothenburg and Oslo, and has worked as a consultant for several companies in Norway.
