New report: A question of values, trust and flexibility.

A report about coordination of social housing services for people with severe or moderate/less severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

Coordination between departments within local governments and between different administrative levels is a bottle neck in Social housing efforts for people with co-occuring severe or moderate/less severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

In this report factors hindering and promoting coordination are identified. Successful coordination seems to be like putting together a puzzle. A common set of values and principles for the social housing efforts is an important foundation. Appropriate housing, flexibility of services and stability and trust in human relations also seem to constitute an important basis.

Levels of competence, resources, accountability and arenas for coordination are factors that either promote or hinder coordination of social housing efforts both within local government and between administrative levels.

The complete report is available in Norwegian only.
